I have had the honour of doing a number of shoots with Tony Chapman, president of Capital C. Capital C did not start off as a digital agency and when I first starting doing work with them years ago; they only had a few people on their digital team. So it truly is a pleasure to listen to a president of an established agency who gets it. Here is a favourite:

Hmm, yeah. What he is saying is right but his big omission is that for the “journey” to work you begin by making your product well – like not crappy and vulnerable to real online opinions that aren’t vetted by a marketing department. Then you have a community build itself organically.
This is what guys this smart don’t say that much publicly because then it limits their client base.
Imagine if you only had clients with genuinely good products?
